Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Mile Zero: T-Break Tracker (“Mile Zero”, “the app”) is made by Rostyslav Urdeichuk, an individual developer in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: there is no account, your trip stays on your phone, and we never see it.

What stays on your phone

Everything you enter in the app stays on your device: your route and trip dates, stamps, check-ins (sleep, mood, cravings and notes), exits, Pull over sessions, weekly spend and settings. We have no server that receives this data and no way to read it.

Backups

To keep your trip safe when you change or reinstall your phone, the app saves a copy in your own backup: iCloud Drive on iPhone, Android Auto Backup (your Google account) on Android. These backups are stored by Apple or Google under your account and their privacy policies. We cannot access them. You can turn backups off in your phone’s settings.

Anonymous usage analytics

The app sends a small set of anonymous events to PostHog so we can see which steps people finish and fix what doesn’t work: onboarding steps, a trip started (and its route), a postcard stamped (the day number), a check-in saved, an exit logged, a Pull over started or passed, a card shared, the paywall shown, a purchase completed and a trip completed. Events are tied to a random ID created on your phone, not to your name, email or device advertising ID. They never include your notes, ratings or spending. There is no session recording and no tracking across other apps or websites.

Purchases

Express Lane is sold through the App Store or Google Play. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card or billing details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a random app user ID and your purchase history from the store (product, dates, status). It does not receive your name or email.

Route content

Route postcards and images are downloaded from our content server (Cloudflare). Like any web server, it receives your IP address and basic request data to deliver the files. We don’t use this to identify you.

Notifications and widgets

Postcard reminders are scheduled on your phone; they don’t go through a server. Widgets and the Lock Screen show only your route and day by default. Days clear and days to go appear only if you turn on “Show details on Lock Screen”.

Early access list (website)

Before launch, mileze.ro lets you join an early access list. If you do, we store your email address, whether you use an iPhone or Android, the site that sent you (if any) and the date, in a database on Cloudflare. We use them only to email you when Mile Zero launches, with your early access code, and we don’t share them with anyone. To be removed from the list, write to us and we’ll delete your email. This list is separate from the app: the app never asks for your email.

What we don’t do

  • No account, email or password in the app.
  • No ads and no advertising IDs.
  • No selling or sharing of your data with advertisers or data brokers.
  • No tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Settings → Delete all data. This erases the trip data on your phone, the app’s iCloud copy, downloaded content and your anonymous analytics ID. Deleting the app also removes the data on your phone. One small record that your free trip was used stays in the iPhone Keychain, so the free trip can’t be restarted by reinstalling. To ask us to delete analytics events linked to your anonymous ID, write to us. Since we can’t see who you are, please include the approximate date you used the app.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data and to object to its processing. Because the app has no accounts, we hold almost nothing that can identify you. Write to us and we’ll help with what we can. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Age

Mile Zero is for adults 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above. Important changes will also be mentioned in the app’s release notes.
