How we write these guides
These guides are general information for adults taking a break from cannabis. Here is who writes them and how far you can rely on them.
Who writes them
The guides are written by Rostyslav Urdeichuk, the developer of Mile Zero, not by a doctor, and no clinician has reviewed them yet. If that changes, the guide will name the reviewer and the date.
Where the facts come from
- Claims about research link to the studies and reviews under “Sources” at the end of the guide.
- Where the evidence is thin or small, the guide says so.
- We don’t promise what a break will do for your body or your tolerance.
We make an app
Mile Zero is a paid app, and the guides mention it. That’s a conflict of interest worth keeping in mind, most of all in our comparison of T-break apps.
What the guides can’t do
They aren’t medical advice and can’t tell you what is right for your body. If you use cannabis for a health condition, take medication or feel unwell, talk to a doctor. If you have thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 in the US right away.
Found a mistake?
Write to hello@mileze.ro. Guides show the date they were published, and the date they were updated when that changes.
